System Requirements
What are the system requirements necessary to run The Green Book Toolbar?
• Microsoft Windows (95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 or
XP)
• Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or greater
When will the Toolbar be available on other browsers?
The Toolbar is currently only available for the Internet
Explorer browser.
The development of the Toolbar for other browsers is in
progress.
Installation
If the ActiveX error message appears when you are trying
to install the Toolbar
Your Internet Security Settings may be set on High.
This setting will prevent the ActiveX controls from running.
These ActiveX controls must be enabled in order to run
the Toolbar.
To change your settings:
• From your browser's navigation bar, select TOOLS,
then INTERNET OPTIONS
• Click on the Security Tab
• Click on the Internet Icon
• Change the security settings to Medium and click OK
If your newly installed Toolbar does not appear on
the browser
The Toolbar sometimes "hides" under other opened toolbars. To correct this:
• Go to View
• Select Toolbars
• Put a check beside Green Book Toolbar
name
• Unlock the toolbar by removing the check by the
"Lock the Toolbars". This will enable you to relocate
the Toolbar where you would like, either sharing a line
or on its own at the top of your browser.
• Lock the Toolbar to secure its new position
If you are using Windows NT or 2000 and are experiencing
a failed installation
You will need to verify with your system administrator
that you have the administrative privileges required to
install new applications.

How to find out if a new version of the Toolbar is
available
You will automatically be notified when a new version
of the Toolbar becomes available.
You will automatically be prompted to download the newest
version of the Toolbar.
Using The Green Book Toolbar
To change your Toolbar's location
You may choose the location of your Toolbar by clicking
and dragging the vertical separator bar that is located
to the left of The Green Book logo. Drag the Toolbar
to the desired line at the top of the browser. Note: your
Toolbar must be unlocked in order for you to change its
location. To unlock your Toolbar remove the check by the
"Lock the Toolbars".
