A projector is an optical apparatus that projects the light through the image or moving images onto a surface. There are projectors to suit every consumer needs to enhance any presentation. Here are the different kinds of projectors, their advantages and what they do:
DLP (Digital Light Processing) Projectors – are the latest breakthrough projection display technology from the tiniest hand-held projectors to the massive movie theatres. They have fast digital video performance, long lasting accurate color, high brightness, low power consumption, wide selection of models, outstanding readability, and a lamp free design.
LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) Projectors – are the present-day equivalent of the overhead projector or slide projector. They are used for displaying videos, images as well as computer data on a smooth and even surface. LCD projectors are brighter, capable of projecting sharper images and have a wider range of connectivity compared to DLP projectors.
Opaque Projectors – are generally designed to project images of drawings, mineral specimens, book pages and leaves. They provide greater reliability in their capacity to replicate fine details exactly and clearly.
Overhead Projectors – are made purposely to work with transparent or transmissive objects like sheets of plastic film. They allow the user to write or draw in real time on a sheet of transparency that’s placed on the projector while sharing what is being written with an audience.

Bring presentations, movies and games to life with projectors of the highest quality with the help of The Green Book, a Singapore-based directory that works to provide an extensive list of companies, suppliers and distributors providing projectors and other related classifications for various applications.
