Blu Veritas Voyage Data Recorder

The Blu Veritas Voyage Data Recorder and its Protective Capsule was designed in accordance to the requirements specified by IMO A.861(20) and complies with the standards outlined under IEC 61996, 61996-2, 60945 and 61162. It is compact in size yet robust in features. Its speedy real time functions simultaneously download information even while recording is in progress, reliably capturing all cruising data. Its Protective Capsule is a sealed, watertight container designed to withstand extreme conditions.

Product Description

Always at the cutting edge of industry needs, Pamarine’s Research and Development team has developed Blu Veritas Voyage Data Recorder (VDR), Simplified Voyage Data Recorder (SVDR) and Protective Capsule.

Blu Veritas VDR and SVDR is able to run on either the ship’s main or secondary power supply and has multiple audio and video input jacks. The software provided is Windows compatible.

Drawing on our extensive industry-wide knowledge, we have developed this VDR, SVDR and Protective Capsule to be light and easily manageable for swift servicing and installation on either new or existing ships, in the most time-saving, cost-sensitive manner possible.


Why do we need a VDR?

VDR can provide a significant way for marine accident investigation by data acquiring and protective storage.

Beside there can be other uses of recorded data:

  • Performance efficiency monitoring

  • Blu Veritas SVDR can be upgraded to VDR when required

  • Additional Removable Solid State Memory (RSSM) has a 20 GB capacity for preserving a copy of data as a back up and easy retrievable during emergency
