Danfoss Drives frequency converters range from 0.18 kW to 1.4 MW, comes in all enclosure classes and covers the full low voltage range up to 690 V. Danfoss VSD allows standard AC motors to vary speed and torque in a very controlled way. Where variable speed is not required, Danfoss electronic Soft Starters range from 1.5kW - 1.2 MW still provide benefits compared to star or delta and other contactor solutions.
