Counterbalance Valves: Standard counterbalance valves (CB) & Atmospherically Referenced Valves (CA), Check Valves: Standard (CV)

Counterbalance valves are also known as load holding valves or over-centre valves. These versatile valves have various uses:
  • Suitable for diverse applications such as lifting applications, hydraulic cylinder, winches, extensible movable bridge, etc
  • Lowers velocity control and stationary load holding
  • Provides protection against hydraulic line failure and pressure shocks when placed next to actuator
  • A CA counterbalance valve is normally used in regeneration circuits and servo/proportional valve circuits.

Specifications of CB & CA valves:

  • Rated flow of up to 480 LPM
  • Pressure range of 70 Bar – 350 Bar
  • Maximum leakage at reseat (85% of setting) is 5 drops per minute
  • For CA counterbalance valves, approximately 1 drop (0.07cc) of fluid will pass from the pilot area to the vented spring chamber every 4000 cycles

Special feature of CA:

  • Backpressure at port 2 does not affect the valve setting because the spring chamber is atmospherically vented.
  • Full relief capacity.

Special feature of CB:

  • Stainless Steel counterbalance (CB) valves (External component) are also available.

Our team at Latco Enterprises Pte Ltd can also provide custom-made valves and manifolds according to the customer’s requirements. To get complete product and service information, you may directly contact our team or post your inquiries below.

Check Valves: Standard (CV) & Pilot-to-open (CO)

Uses of Check Valves:
allows free flow from one port to another and prevent backflow
Special note on Pilot-to-Open check vales: CO valves block reverse flow until a pilot pressure directly proportional to the load pressure is sensed at port 3 (Pilot). A pilot piston then pushes the check poppet off its seat, making them well suited for many clamp holding applications.

Specifications of Check Valves:

Rated flow up to 640 LPM
Maximum pressure of 350 Bar
Maximum leakage of 1 drop per min
Specifications of Pilot-to-Open Check Valves (CO):

Rated flow of up to 480 LPM
Maximum pressure of 350 Bar
Maximum leakage of 1 drop per min
Cracking pressure of 0.3 Bar, but other cracking pressures can be offered upon request
CO pilot ratio is 3:1, making it suitable for most applications
Special features of Pilot-to-Open Check Valves (CO):

Extremely low leakage on closing relative to other Check valves
Our team at Latco Enterprises Pte Ltd can also provide custom-made valves and manifolds according to the customer’s requirements. To get complete product and service information, you may directly contact our team or post your inquiries below.
