Nexgen Studio was founded by Alvin Yap in 2003, inspired by his passion for video gaming. An avid gamer since youth, Alvin always yearned to create high quality, innovative games and continues to indulge his passion for the benefit of serious gamers everywhere!

We are a small outfit of game-makers who thrive on imagination and strive to provide a better gaming experience for everyone. Our talented team creates games for a whole range of platforms – including the iPhone, iPad and many other devices – and we are constantly updating our service to suit the latest trends. No corporate machines here! We foster a working environment that inspires interesting concepts and high quality products.

Previously, we made games solely for outside companies but are now actively engaged in creating our own. Nexgen Studio is an award-winning company and proud of the successes we have achieved, including:

Deep Quest – a casual underwater real-time strategy game that was released on Yahoo! Games in 2007 to rave reviews.

Elven Legends – one of the earliest multiplayer online games for 3G mobile phones. Selected as an entry for the Asia-Pacific “Most Innovative Consumer Application Service” category in the GSMA’s 2009 Mobile Innovation Global Competition!

Nexgen studio has also created innovative games for education, advertising, simulations and training. Always on the cutting edge of gaming initiatives, we are currently developing iPad and tablet games for both the education and entertainment industries.
