The company has since progress with time and technology and moved from servicing and supplying mechanical scales to electronic scales. In 1988, Malayan Daching became the first scale company in Singapore to be certified as an accredited laboratory under SINGLAS (Singapore Laboratory Accreditation Scheme) in the field of Calibration and measurement. The company was incorporated as a private limited company in 1990. Due to the increasing demand for automation, the company diversified from their core business in weighing to provide engineering design, support and integration for industrial automation and control. The company now employs more than 50 employees and has a regional pool of client base.
